West Baltimore Murals and Street Art

POSTPONED: We need to reschedule due to family illness. We’ll post a new date as soon as we can.

We just completed a very successful murals tour of east Baltimore. Not only did we see some great artwork, but we met some interesting people and got to explore neighborhoods we wouldn’t normally see.

This time we’ll focus on the west side of Baltimore. Once again we’ll be showing you murals and street art - we’re going to lead you to some of our favorites, so that you can see Baltimore through the lens of street art. Our challenge as photographers is not only to photograph the murals, but to capture the neighborhoods that provide the context for this art.

Jonathan Dimes, Baltimore resident and documentor of Baltimore’s street art scene, will co-lead this tour and share his passion for street art with us, including his knowledge of the art, the artists, and the neighborhoods. You can see Jonathan’s work on his @themuralhunter and @charmcityquirk Instagram feeds.

All cameras and all skill levels are welcome. We can provide whatever technical assistance you may need, give you ideas on how to shoot the murals, show you highlights of the neighborhoods - or just leave you alone to do your thing.

The cost is $90, and you’re registered when you’ve paid. We’re limiting the group size to six, so sign up now to reserve a spot.

We’ll send a liability waiver to fill out and return upon payment. No refunds unless we cancel (though you can transfer your spot to someone else). Please join us!
